2019

HELM has renewed the exclusive distribution agreement with CSPC Weisheng Pharmaceutical Co. Ltd. for the distribution of pharma grade Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) and derivatives for Europe.

2018

HELM Portugal moves to Lagoas Park, one of the most modern business parks in Lisbon.

2017

HELM Portugal becomes the Competence Center for the marketing of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients in Europe.

2016

HELM Portugal begins a partnership with Rangel for product storage and distribution.

2015

HELM Portugal becomes the Regulatory Competence Center for the Group. The nutrition department was transferred for HELM Iberia.

2009

Animal Nutrition and Human Nutrition merge to become a single division: Nutrition.

2006

Vetiquima changes its trade name to HELM Portugal, Lda.

2002

The company starts to market Finished Dosage Forms (FDF) in addition to its Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API)

1994

Vetiquima – Produtos Químicos, Lda., is acquired by HELM AG

1992

Vetiquima takes the strategic decision to close its Industrial Division.

1991

Vetiquima opens new facilities in Bobadela, with its own warehouse.

1988

Vetiquima moves to Av. Barbosa do Bocage, in the centre of Lisbon.

The Industry Department is created, which markets chemical products

Vetiquima – Produtos Químicos, Lda., is founded in Portugal, comprising three devisions with 3 departments: Pharma, Animal Nutrition and Human Nutrition.
