People around the world still face inequality and discrimination because of who they love, how they look, or who they are. Sexual orientation, gender expression and gender identity are integral aspects of ourselves and should never lead to discrimination or abuse.

Promote Diversity is one of our Leadership principles, and at HELM Portugal we pride ourselves of fostering a culture of inclusion and diversity where everyone can bring their true selves to work. We believe our differences are what make us stonger and what boost innovation.

As of Portugal, although sometimes seen as a conservative country, it is considered one of the most LGBTQ-friendly countries in Europe according to NBC News (https://www.nbcnews.com/feature/nbc-out/europe-s-10-most-lgbtq-friendly-countries-n1207761).
